Terms and Conditions

1. Pricing & Quotes
- All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include applicable GST where required.
- Prices are subject to change based on availability, exchange rates, and supplier pricing at the time of booking.
- A quote does not guarantee availability or price until a deposit or full payment is made.
2. Deposits & Payments
- A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking. The deposit amount and due date will be specified in your quote.
- Full payment is required before the ticketing or final confirmation of services. Payment terms vary by supplier and service type.
- Payments can be made via credit card (processed through Stripe, 1.7% transaction fee) or bank transfer.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations may be subject to supplier cancellation fees (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators). These fees are outlined in their specific policies.
- Roam Wisely Travel’s cancellation fee applies in addition to supplier fees and will be detailed in your quote.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed based on the supplier’s policy and may take up to 60 days to be finalized.
- Some services, including but not limited to flights, event tickets, and promotional packages, may be non-refundable.
4. Amendments & Changes
- Changes to a confirmed booking may incur additional fees imposed by the supplier and Roam Wisely Travel.
- Date changes, name corrections, or service modifications are subject to availability and supplier terms.
5. Travel Insurance
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and unforeseen travel disruptions.
- Roam Wisely Travel is not liable for any loss, delay, or cost resulting from travel disruptions.
6. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements
- It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure all necessary travel documents, including passports and visas, are valid for their travel dates.
- Some destinations require passports to be valid for at least six months beyond the return date.
- Entry requirements, including vaccination or health-related regulations, vary by destination and are the traveler’s responsibility.
7. Liability & Responsibilities
- Roam Wisely Travel acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, car rental companies, tour operators, and other service providers.
- We are not liable for any delays, cancellations, schedule changes, or service failures by third-party providers.
- Any disputes regarding third-party services must be addressed with the relevant provider.
8. COVID-19 & Travel Restrictions
- Travelers must comply with all COVID-19 travel requirements, including testing, quarantine, and vaccination mandates imposed by airlines and governments.
- Cancellations due to government-imposed travel restrictions may be non-refundable based on supplier policies.
9. Acceptance of Terms
- By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
At Roam Wisely Travel, we aim to provide seamless travel experiences. However, we understand that plans may change. This policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds, ensuring transparency and clarity.
1. Cancellations by the Customer
- Cancellation Timeframes:
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before the travel date will receive a full refund, minus a processing fee of $50.
- Cancellations made 7–13 days before the travel date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the travel date or for no-shows are non-refundable.
- Changes to Bookings:
- Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur an additional fee of $50.
2. Refund Eligibility
- Refund Conditions:
- Refund eligibility depends on the type of booking. Certain bookings (e.g., flights, accommodation, or tours) may have specific refund rules as determined by the service provider.
- Non-refundable components include gift cards, special promotions, or third-party services.
- Partial Refunds:
- If part of a booking is refundable, only the refundable portion will be processed.
3. Cancellations by Roam Wisely Travel
- If we cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, operational issues, or safety concerns), you will receive:
- A full refund, including any applicable GST.
- The option to reschedule at no additional cost.
4. Refund Processing
- Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of receiving the cancellation request. Delays may occur if additional approval is required from third-party providers.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during booking.
5. Supplier Cancellations
- If a service provider (e.g., airline, accommodation, or tour operator) cancels a booking:
- We will facilitate a full refund or reschedule your booking based on the provider’s policies.
6. GST (Goods and Services Tax)
- Refunds include any GST component where applicable. All prices listed on our website are inclusive of GST unless otherwise specified.
7. Additional Notes
- Promo Codes: Promotional discounts are non-refundable and cannot be applied to rescheduled bookings.
- Special Requests: Any adjustments to bookings must be made in writing and are subject to approval.
