Roam Wisely Travel is a family-owned travel agency based in the Hawkesbury region of NSW, specialising in multi-generational family travel for families across Australia.
We help families plan trips that genuinely work across different ages, energy levels and expectations. Not just the logistics, but the structure that makes the whole trip feel manageable.
Between us, we have been travelling since 1999, including USA road trips, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the UK, cruises, theme parks and plenty in between.
Almost every trip on our list, we have done together. So when we talk about what works and what does not, it is not theory. It comes from actually being there.
Meet Paul & Simon
Roam Wisely is proudly family-owned and operated.
Paul is the founder and lead travel adviser behind Roam Wisely Travel.
He brings decades of real travel experience to each trip we plan, including long-distance USA road trips, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the UK, cruises, theme parks and family holidays across different generations.
Paul’s approach is practical and planning-led. He looks at how the trip will work in real life: where to stay, how fast to move, when to rest and how to avoid exhausting travel days.
Travelling with his children and grandchildren now shapes how Roam Wisely plans multi-generational holidays for other families.
Simon is a qualified travel agent and supports the planning and booking details behind Roam Wisely Travel.
He helps with itinerary structure, flight logic, supplier details and making sure the moving parts line up properly. That detail matters when a holiday includes several generations, multiple stops, flights, accommodation, transport, tours or theme parks.
Simon has travelled on many of the same family trips, so he understands the Roam Wisely approach from experience, not just from a booking system.
His role helps bring another layer of checking to each itinerary, so the plan is practical, realistic and suited to the people travelling.

What We Know Because We Have Done It
We have travelled through Japan, South Korea and Singapore with grandchildren in a stroller.
Train travel in all three countries is genuinely family-friendly, but there are things worth knowing before you go. Not every station exit has a lift, and finding the right one makes a real difference when you are navigating a busy platform with a pram.
That is the kind of detail we will tell you upfront, because we have worked it out ourselves.
We have also done long-haul USA trips covering multiple states, including Atlanta, Tennessee, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Chicago and Anaheim on the 2024 trip alone.
We know how to pace an itinerary across different ages so it does not exhaust anyone halfway through.
